Truthful Tuesday: Simple Wins at Penn Women

by Lisa Bodell for futurethinkThe annual Pennsylvania Conference for Women first opened its doors in 2004, and now features world-renowned speakers sharing inspirational stories and leading seminars on the issues that matter most to women, including health, personal finance, executive leadership, small business and entrepreneurship, work/life balance, branding and social media marketing, and more. The 2017 conference today drew more than 12,000 attendees and included such speakers as Michelle Obama, Shonda Rhimes, and...me. From book signings to breakout sessions, I had the privilege of meeting with female leaders and readers who want to simplify their lives and businesses. The Conference's mission is to promote, communicate, and amplify the influence of women in the workplace and beyond. It's committed to helping close the pay gap, eliminate gender discrimination, and achieve parity in company leadership and on corporate boards. If this sounds like your jam, I hope you'll attend next year—and find time to introduce yourself to me—or participate via teleclass. See you there in 2018!
