Showing Up As Your Best Self in 2023

What does showing up for yourself mean to you? Is it about choosing activities that are fulfilling or keep you present? Being authentic in your interactions with others? Prioritizing your physical and mental well-being every day? Setting firm boundaries around how you spend your time?

All these responses are valid — along with the thousands of answers not included here. When my teams and I discussed what showing up for ourselves this year looks like, the conversation revolved around company goals and workplace wins that we’ve been striving for. While business objectives are important, I also encouraged my employees to personally focus on what each of them wants out of 2023 — and what actions they’ll take to manifest it.

The Q&A that was born out of our discussion is relevant to any size company in any industry. If you share it with your teams, I recommend first completing it yourself and making it clear to others that this assignment is for personal development, not public consumption. If necessary, give everyone an afternoon off in February to complete the following ten questions:
